Latin America Construction Equipment Statistics Committee (CELA)

The Latin America Construction Equipment Statistics Committee (CELA) provides strategic leadership and oversight for construction equipment statistical programs across Latin America. Through member collaboration and the exchange of aggregated industry data, the committee promotes market transparency and delivers valuable market intelligence to help participating companies better understand industry trends and make informed business decisions.

About the Committee
Established as a statistical program in 2013, the committee was formally organized in 2018 to guide the development and growth of construction equipment statistics programs throughout the region. The committee evaluates opportunities for new statistical programs, recommends program enhancements, and supports member recruitment efforts to ensure broad industry participation and data relevance.

In Fall 2025, the committee adopted the name Latin America Construction Equipment Statistics Committee (CELA), transitioning from CE Latin American Statistics Task Force (CE LA STF) to better align with AEM's broader statistics committee structure.
