Youth Industry Engagement Council
Objective
Identify means by which AEM may better support this product group and provide direction to AEM service areas accordingly.
Responsibilities
- From a holistic perspective, identify product-specific challenges and areas of need.
- Formulate solutions and/or determine means by which to address those challenges.
- Employ and direct relevant AEM service teams and/or committees (or establish sub-committees/task forces) to take action on those solutions.
Priorities
- Identify and prioritize AEM on engagement opportunities with youth organizations.
- Advocate for programs and initiatives that align with the principles/goals of FFA/AFA/4-H.
- Collaborate with relevant AEM and industry groups to promote engagement with various youth organizations.
- Identify ways to increase AEM member company engagement and involvement with various youth organizations.
Leadership
- A Chair & Vice Chair is elected by the committee and serves a two-year term.
Composition
- Open to to anyone from AEM member companies looking for ways to engage with youth organizations.
Meetings
- One face-to-face meeting annually, in conjunction with FFA National Convention & Expo.
- Conference calls to be scheduled as needed.
