Power Source (Engine) Leadership Group

Composition

Executive level committee of AEM member manufacturers concerned with issues surrounding engines and power sources used to power non-road equipment.

Objective

• Identify product-related challenges and formulate solutions through education and open dialog.    
• Identify means by which AEM may better support this product group.  

Responsibilities

• From a holistic perspective, identify product-specific challenges and areas of need.
• Formulate solutions and/or determine means by which to address those challenges.
• Employ and direct relevant AEM service teams and/or committees (or establish sub-committees/task forces) to take action on those solutions.

Priorities

This group will set the direction for the AEM staff liaison to lead a coordinated effort among AEM staff and related committees to identify and address the legislative, standards, regulatory, PR and other needs related to power source manufacturers.    

Leadership

• The Chair & Vice Chair are elected by the Group and serve a two-year term.

Meetings

• At least one face-to-face meeting annually preferred, if possible, in conjunction with other industry events.  
• Conference calls to be scheduled as needed.
