Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is part of the Exhibitions & Marketing team and supports attendee acquisition, marketing communications, and digital engagement for AEM’s major trade shows including CONEXPO-CON/AGG, The Utility Expo, and World of Asphalt. 

The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, a passion for data-driven marketing, and a customer-focused mindset to help elevate AEM’s brand and attendee experience. 

Responsibilities:   

  • Support the creation and maintenance of marketing materials such as exhibitor directories and trade show map book materials, including layout, branding, and content coordination to ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on mobile app content, testing, and branding to support attendee engagement. 
  • Assist in the development and distribution of exhibitor marketing kits, including internal communications and basic technical support. 

  • Maintain and update the CRM attendee database by uploading leads, cleaning data, and supporting reporting and integration tasks. 

  • Monitor social media accounts and trade show email inboxes, review content and inquiries, and work with team members to ensure responses aligned with brand and messaging guidelines. 

  • Contribute to post-show reporting and support miscellaneous attendee marketing projects, including email drafting, podcast content review, data mining, market research, and branding alignment. 

Requirements:   

A successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related fields, along with 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination preferred.   

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems and social media platforms.  

  • Experience working with external vendors or in a collaborative team environment is beneficial.  

  • Occasional travel required for major trade shows (e.g., CONEXPO-CON/AGG every 3 years, The Utility Expo every 2 years).
