Jim McEvoy

Jim McEvoy earned a B.S. in Business & Finance from Kings College in Wilkes Barre, PA in 1989 and began his career as a management trainee in Ingersoll Rand’s Construction and Mining Group. Over eleven years, he gained deep expertise in marketing, product management, sales, and distribution within the road construction sector.
In 2000, Jim joined Wirtgen America as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, later serving as VP of Business Development, where he focused on brand growth and channel strategy. In 2007, he was appointed President and CEO of Wirtgen America, Inc., overseeing operations across the U.S. and Canada. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened its distribution network, expanded market share, and built strong customer relationships through service-oriented support and technical expertise.
Wirtgen America is a subsidiary of the Wirtgen Group, a John Deere Company, offering mobile solutions for road construction and mineral processing through its brands: Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann, Benninghoven, and Ciber.
